Aircraft Designs of WW11: A Sketchbook
I have an original copy of this from the 1940’s. It was the manual given to new design engineers that worked at Lockheed. It has hundreds of cutaway, instalment and detail drawings of aircraft, engines, wing structure etc.,
It has now been reprinted. I recommend it.

I concur with Bill's assessment; this is an interesting aircraft structures, controls, landing gear, etc. reference covering not only Lockheed aircraft, but British, French, German, Russian, and other American designs as well. _________________ Kimble D. McCutcheon |
