|

I'm researching the Westinghouse J46 development history, which occurred in parallel with the late models of the J34 and J40. This is turning out to be an even bigger effort than that which went into the J40 book.
The J46 models most commonly referred to in texts are the -8, -8A and rarely the -12 and -18. All museum exhibits I've located so far are of the -8 series.
Other models I have discovered existed were the AF versions -1, -3 and -5 and Navy versions -2, -4, -6, -10, -12B, -14, -16, -18 and -20.
If anyone knows of a museum exhibit of any of these latter models I'd appreciate a note telling me where it is.
