Hello I am working on a Lawrance APU. It has a 37 HP vertical shaft 5 cyl radial engine. It looks a little like R2D2 with the covers on it. I have not been able to find any info on it. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated.want to get it running. Thx. |

I found a brief description in Wilkinson's 1944 Aircraft Engines of the World,

I have two Lawrance Model 30D, and was able to get an overhaul manual from Kal Nelson Aviation, but it was expensive (over $200 for 130 pages!) and one has to know the AN number of the manual (Mine was AN-65-518).
Your engine should have a dataplate on it. What is its exact model? _________________ Kimble D. McCutcheon |
