Only looked at a few so far, but they're well translated! _________________ “Make everything as simple as possible - but not simpler” – Einstein. |

Further to Bob's listings above, another of these reports which might be of interest is an account by a German author on some of the technical aspects of the Schneider Trophy races (1913 - 1931). It has been translated into English.
If you go to the Home Page of the website http://ntrs.nasa.gov and type "NACA-TM-712" into the search box, the report should download as a 47 page doco PDF. It is quite well illustrated with photos (not too clear) and charts etc.

Another interesting report is available at:
http://ntrs.nasa.gov/archive/nasa/casi.ntrs.nasa.gov/19930094473_1993094473.pdf
This is a translation of an Italian paper on their engines developed for Schneider Trophy racing planes. The AS6 was a rather ingenious design, achieving high power with minimal frontal area and probably representing the first successful application of the contra-rotating propeller concept.
