Hi All,
Doing a display restoration on a -43, and found that the nose case emblem is painted on (or inked on) rather than the typical brass job. That struck me as odd. The plate on the engine indicates it was made by BUICK, not Ford, which struck me as odd also. I don't recall anything from Grahams' superb book mentioning this, was it very unusual?
Anyone have info on Buick and the R-2800?
Thanks, John |
