Hi.
Bought these 3 engines from a scrap yard where they sat in the open for 30/40 years.
Thought I might get them to rotate but they are just too rusted up.
I am going to put 2 on a trailer and take to car shows or any other shows.
Live in North Florida Palatka.
They don't have ID plates, I guess the USAF removed them when they were scrapped.
Would like to know how old they are but without IDs a bit difficult.
Wrights have the individual coil ignition.

You have provided one clue. Sounds like the Wrights have low tension ignition systems. I believe most R-3350's built after the war had that ignition system. The last series of 1820's the HE series used in the Sikorsky S-58 helicopter and Grumman Tracker used that ignition system. Maybe if some photos are posted more postive ID could be made. Carl
