That video is something well worth watching! It must have been purest of pleasure to "pour it on" while filming the material:) The sound appears to be very unlike any other big piston engine I have heard running.

Unfortunately I don’t think there is a sound recording system in the world that could do it justice, the racket is quite beyond belief. But the video is better than nothing. I couldn’t bring up the video on my system but if it was the Sun ‘n Fun run-up then peak power was 58in.Hg. and 3600rpm. Temperature makes a big difference as to how much manifold pressure I can pull A cold day (less than 50 F) will yield over 60in.Hg.
