In reply to an article on magnesium published in Scope, Colonel L. M. Wilson, of High Duty Alloys, Ltd., has pointed out that the impression is given that there is only one magnesium organisation in this country, and that our production is carried on under patents of German origin. To correct this he gave a very interesting summary of the history of the development of this metal in England, where magnesium was first separated as a metal.
