Zlinska Letecka A. S. of Zlin, Czechoslovakia produced both Zlin aircraft and Zlin engines beginning c.1935. Their HOAE are discussed here. Manufacture of a further developed version after WWII, the Persey 3, was carried on by the nationalized Czechoslovak Metal Engineering Works, National Corporation, of Prague XVII - Jinonice, which also built the Praga engines.
