Technopower engines were built by Technopower, Inc. of Orland Park, Illinois. The firm is well known for their model aircraft engines. Technopower also built the two-cylinder HOAE described here for ultralight and light aircraft. This engine has remarkable similarity to the AeroMotion (AMI) Twin (O-101), which also was built in the Chicago area. Further information on the relationship between the two engines is being sought.

Dual magneto-ignition engine with one carburetor and direct drive. The engine contained many Chevrolet V-8 auto engine parts, including pistons, connecting rods, valves, and valve guides.
