The Henry Owens Co. built and manufactured specialized machinery. They also engaged in the design of a four-cylinder HOAE to develop 85 HP. The late William E. Hunt joined the company in 1932 to develop a two-place lightplane using this Owens engine. No further details are available in a private communication from Mr. Hunt.
