Fauvel engines were developed by E. de Coucy and Charles Fauvel and were built by the firm "Survol" - Charles Fauvel at Cannes La Bocca, A-M, France. Fauvel was an important sailplane designer in the post-WWII period and specialized in flying wings. These engines were used in Fauvel powered sailplanes.
